Customers will receive 14 days to return parts accompanied by receipt, in unopened resalable condition. There are NO RETURNS on electrical or used parts. This includes, but is not limited to wiring harness, CDI boxes/power packs, gauges, fuses, relays, etc. Returns are subject to 25% restocking fee. Obsolete or NLA (no longer available) part sales are final. Cancellations or returns on NLA parts must be approved by management and are subject to restocking fee. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from, unless there was an error on our behalf, in which we will gladly arrange freight at our expense. All returns must be accompanied by a return authorization number. Please contact customer service and a R/A number can be issued. In the case of an unauthorized return, the customer will be responsible for any freight charges and refund will not be issued.

There
is a $30 minimum order (does not include freight).
If an order is placed less than $30, you will be
charged $30 + freight.

Orders received by 10:00 am EST will be shipped same day. However, orders placed after 10:00 am will not ship until the following business day. If you are placing an order for GROUND delivery, please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be shipped. In the case of a back-order, you will be notified via email and/or customer service will attempt to reach you via telephone. Please contact us immediately if your order is incomplete, damaged, or lost in transit. Replacement will be sent at no additional cost if Doug Russell Marine or shipping carrier is at fault. The return policy may be applied to any order returned or canceled after shipment. Regardless of payment method, all orders over $1,000 are subject to 3% handling fee. (Handling fee defined as paperwork, boxing, and internet expense).
Orders under $1,000 may be paid by credit card and must be shipped to the billing address. International orders over $1,000 must be prepaid by bank wire transfer or check and will be shipped via UPS, USPS Global EMS, or customers can arrange pickup at their own expense. When you place an order, you will receive a prompt
online confirmation that your order has been received,
including an order reference number. We suggest
keeping your confirmation until you receive your
order just in case you need to check the order status.

Unless specified, our prices on sterndrives and engines are sold outright- no trade required and there are no hidden core charges. However, If you do have a unit you would like to trade, please call customer service at 508.791.4917 for details.

Rebuilt Sterndrives
All rebuilt sterndrives are sold with a 1 Year warranty from date of purchase for pleasure boaters. For commercial applications, a 30 day warranty from date of purchase. (Commercial use is defined as any work or employment related use of the product, or any use of the product which generates income, for any part of the warranty period, even if the product is only occasionally used for such purposes). Doug Russell Marine warranties each unit to be free from defect in material and workmanship, but only when the consumer sale is made in the country to which distribution is authorized by us.
This warranty does not cover routine maintenance items, adjustments, normal wear and tear, damaged caused by abuse, abnormal use, use of a propeller or gear ratio that does not allow the engine to run in its recommended RPM range, operation of the product in a manner inconsistent with recommended operation, neglect, accident, improper installation, improper service, operation with oils or lubricants which are not suitable for use with the product, alteration or removal of parts, damage to the product due to insufficient cooling water caused by blockage by a foreign body or running the unit out of the water. Use of the product for racing or other competitive activity, or operating with a racing type lower unit, at any point voids the warranty.
Reasonable access must be provided for warranty service. Expenses related to haul-out, launch, towing, storage, telephone, rental, inconvenience, slip fees, insurance coverage, loan payments, loss of time, loss of income, or any other type of incidental or consequential damages are not covered by this warranty. Claim shall be made under this warranty by delivering the product for inspection to Doug Russell Marine 1 S.W. Cutoff Worcester, MA 01604. Customer is responsible for any related transportation or shipping costs. If service is not covered by the warranty, the customer is responsible for all related parts, labor, and any other expenses associated with that service. Our obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing the defective part(s).
